How long will my dvd's take to arrive?
We aim to get all in stock orders dispatched within 1 working day. We will send a dispatch email when your dvd's have been posted. All items are sent from within the UK using Royal Mail, UPS or DHL couriers, depending on weight and value. Most items posted using FREE Super Saver delivery will be posted via Royal Mail. If your item was in stock when you ordered this is usually within a few days, but please note we make no guarantees as they can take longer. If your dvd's have not turned up within the expected time frame please scroll down and read the 'Where's my stuff' section. In stock items are indicated by the following logo:
Items that are not ready to be posted immediately will show the following logo, and will normally be dispatched within 3-5 working days.
We are UK based unlike most other large dvd retailers (who are Channel Island based to avoid paying their share of tax) so our delivery times are normally alot faster than our competitors.
If you need your dvd's urgently we offer Next Day delivery for in stock items within most of the UK using Royal Mail Special Delivery. Only items that display the following logo are eligable for this service.
How do I get FREE Super Saver Delivery?
1. Place over £15 of eligible items in your Shopping Basket.
2. Proceed to checkout.
3. Make sure your items are being delivered to a single UK address.
4. Shipping will be reduced to FREE!. The delivery time for Super Saver Delivery orders is normally 3 to 5 business days after dispatch.

Normal Postage Rate is £2.99 per item. However if you spent £15 or more we will give you this FREE DELIVERY as above. All items are dispatched using UK Royal Mail. For postage purposes UK is deemed to be England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and all BFPO addresses. For deliveries to the Republic fo Ireland, see Europe Delivery Rates. If you require you items urgently ie birthday/present please contact us for fast shipping options. Please note: All our dvds are sent from within the UK, unlike most other large DVD retailers we do not ship from the Channel Islands or abroad. This means faster delivery times for you.
Wheres's my stuff?
When you place an order we aim to dispatch within one working day, for delivery within 3-5 working days. However please be aware Royal Mail can be unpredicatable at the best of times, and they do not consider an item lost until 15 working days have passed. Please do not contact us for replacement dvd's until 15 working days have passed since your item was marked as dispatched in your account, and you have checked at your local sorting office.. Some items will be sent Recorded Delivery and will require someone to be in. If not Royal Mail will leave a card for you to pick up your parcel from your local sorting office. You have 7 days to pick this up before they return it to us. We will then charge you a redelivery charge. If an item is out of stock, we will contact you to arrange an alternative date or a refund. Please note at peak christmas times items can occasionally take longer. Royal Mail do not class an item as lost until 15 working days have passed. If you have waited this long and checked with your local sorting office that they do not have your parcel please contact us for a replacement to be sent. Please note that normal service guarantees may not apply to orders that are affected by the snow, or the backlog it has caused. This applies to the following circumstance:
Acts of God, such as extreme weather or any naturally occurring event outside of human control.
Returns and exchange.
We want you to be 100% satisfied with the DVD's you buy from ClassicMovieStore.co.uk. Always! That's why if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you can return it for a refund within 48 hours of receipt. (Please note you will have to pay the return postage). You can return any product for any reason, as long as it is still brand new and sealed in its wrapping, and unused. Your satisfaction is 100% guaranteed. If the product is defective, we will send you a replacement.
Please contact us in this circumstance for a returns address. Also, it helps us a lot if you could include the packing slip (if you still have it). Please take the time to tell us why you're returning the item so we can do a better job of meeting your needs and expectations. PLEASE package the items just as good as it was when we sent it to you. DVD boxsets are heavy, and we will all be sad if they are ruined when returned to us. We will refund you for your return within 48 hours of recieving it.
