It Takes a Worried Man dvd collection

Philip Roath is thirty five year old insurance salesman whose confidence is thinning as quickly as his hair, he's idle, self-centred, guilt-ridden and anxious. With a big overdraft and an ex-wife who rings frequently to remind him of his inadequacies, and an analyst with he’s own problems, he's overall a bit worried... In the second series, romance flourishes and tidiness prevails as Liz arrives on the scene. But there is not much change elsewhere, he's still not willing to give up his regular visits to therapist Simon - probably because Simon is in a worse state than most of his clients. But, as Liz soon notices, Roath is certainly adept at making sure that his gloom rubs off on everyone else! In the third and last series sees Roath's relationship with girlfriend Liz taking a progressively more rocky path, and his gloom deepens as the outlook of redundancy rears its ugly head. While his boss - aka The Old Man – takes early retirement, it looks like Philip Roath could be about to find himself back at square one... Created by Peter Tilbury who also stars as the fateful Roath the series follows on from the resounding success of Tilbury's Shelly and Sorry, I'm a Stranger Here Myself.
